Departure from the hotel at 4.00am and drive to Dendara. Walk through the ruins of the Hathor Temple, dedicated to the goddess of beauty, who was imagined as a woman with the head of a cow. Her images appear on each of the columns.
The whole temple is surrounded by a wall but does not feature the pylon, usually present in ancient Egyptian architecture. The front of the building is formed by a huge structure with six columns on which an impressive cornice with a winged solar disc rests. Walls between the columns of the facade were erected behind Tiberius. They are covered with reliefs with Roman emperors.
Then drive to Abydos to have dinner at a local restaurant, drinks is extra charge. Visiting the ruins of the temple from the time of Seti I and Ramses II. This building was devoted to seven gods: Osiris, Isis, Horus, Amon, Path, Re-Harakhta & Set. This temple has a great secret; this is the famous helicopter from Abydos. You will find it on one of the pictures in the gallery of the trip. A bright observer will also spot a tank and a gun. Myths say that this is the technique that Osiris possessed. Archaeologists and Egyptologists talk about hieroglyphs imposed on themselves.
