If you’re visiting the Red Sea in Egypt, you still have the option to immerse yourself in its remarkable history. As Egypt continues to open the doors to its tourist spots, it has also opened new places where you can view it. Two museums located on the Red Sea perfect for this are the Hurghada Museum and Sharm El Sheikh Museum.

The Hurghada Museum

The first antiquities museum on the Red Sea, the Hurghada Museum, is worth visiting while in the area. Perhaps one of the main highlights of the museum is the head of Hatshepsut, which was relocated from her temple at Luxor.

The Sharm El Sheikh museum is open throughout the week from 10 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 11 pm. Tickets can be purchased in person at the museum, and prices vary depending on citizenship status.
